Paca rope 2John Paca (Jr/Alhambra High) – In the Alhambra Easter classic John pitched a no hitter and held St Joseph N.D.  scoreless for six innings.  He also had 12 strikeouts in the teams 10-0 rout.

Glad to see John’s off season work paying off. He’s also one of the very few who still comes in during season for arm recovery, power adjustments, and balance work. He’s definitely ready for the season as well as setting the tone for the summer.

Johanna grauerJohanna Grauer (Amador) fired a one hitter with nine strikeouts and no walks to advance her team  to the consolation final of the Michelle Carew Classic at Canyon Anaheim. Johanna has been working hard this off season to improve her velocity and stamina. Her pitching coach Rich Balswick commented that she already had picked up five mph. Shes seems to be showing her competition her improvement up close.
