Hundreds of kids take to the little league fields every spring. All hope to have a championship season but regardless of their teams success most aspire to be an All Star. Its the recognition that you are the elite of your league , the cream of the crop.  Athletes and parents take pride in this distinction. But do you really know what it takes to be an All Star?

 

All Stars excel in superior Hitting, Running and Throwing 

 

Being an all star may be a decision that’s announced at the end of the regular season but your road to becoming an all star starts day one. If you want to be an all star start doing the work now!

 

Gamespeed and Ej Sports is offering The Making of An All Star Series. A collection of training classes that are aimed at improving the athletic and playing abilities of the little league athlete. The classes comprise the physical, technical and tactical skill development needed to be an all star caliber player.

These classes include: 

 

All Star Classes

ALL STAR HITTING

  • Hitting ball out front of lead foot for maximum exit speed after contact
  • Use of lower body to drive the ball
  • Better body connection so you get maximum performance
  • Hand strength exercises
  • Wrist strength exercises
  • Bat speed improvement using weighted and lighter bats
  • Power Core Exercise series for explosiveness.

 

Boys & Girls
Ages: 9 -13

April 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, May 4th, 11th.

Time: 7:00 – 8:00pm.

ALL STAR INFIELD

  • Know all the plays 3B,SS,2B should know in all star competition
  • Relaying ball with quickness, footwork and precision
  • Straddle the base and come away from the base when rerouting throws to and from other infielders and outfielders
  • Backhand catch and footwork to throw
  • Starting double plays and finishing double plays
  • One handed fielding on the run. Do or die.
  • Infielders speed and agility package.
